 Material BalanceThe following shows measurements of the load placed on the environment during 2005 by CASIO MICRONICS material and energy inputs and outputs.
The silicon chip fine processing class clean rooms, rinsing water purification facilities, waste water processing facilities, and other facilities at the CASIO MICRONICS factories operate 24 hours a day. Since the environmental impact of such operations is relatively large, we are constantly implementing comprehensive energy and water reduction measures.
In the case of water usage, dramatic reductions in the use of underground water have been attained by recycling the waste water of the rinsing process. We are constantly striving to continue to reduce water usage even further.
